State Privacy Rights
Last updated: 2026-07-29
Comprehensive US state privacy laws apply to some of our readers — California’s CCPA/CPRA and equivalents in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and further states. This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for them.
Control You Have
You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, get a copy in portable form, and opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Several states additionally grant a right to appeal if we decline. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights — no price difference, no degraded access.
Sale or Sharing
Personal information is not sold for money by Curbfound. That said, where advertising is served, ad partners may receive cookie or device identifiers, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes that may amount to a ‘sale’ or to ‘sharing’ for targeted advertising. Opt out via Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Under-16 data is not knowingly involved.
Categories and Where They Come From
Applicable categories are identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers), internet or other electronic network activity (pages viewed, referring URLs, session timing on curbfound.com), and — where volunteered — an email address. Collected from your device, and from analytics or advertising vendors where those are in use.
How to Use These Rights
Two routes. For an opt-out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour automatically. For anything else — access, correction, deletion, portability — email hello@curbfound.com. Verification is by reply to the originating address, responses come within the time state law sets, and an authorised agent may submit on your behalf with written permission.
